From Houston to Ho Chi Minh City and beyond — a life that inspires writing

I’ve always loved writing. My “first book,” written in first grade, told the story of a wicked witch — and I haven’t stopped since. Dozens of journals trail behind my life, scattered in boxes, apartments, and backpacks. Each holds pages of memory, travel, and healing.

After graduating from the University of Texas at Austin, I moved to Vietnam to teach English — chasing adventure rather than settling into corporate America.

When COVID sent me back home, I turned to freelancing, building a career in content and copy for companies like Superpath and Quo, formerly OpenPhone.

Working remotely has allowed me to keep traveling and living across Southeast Asia and Latin America. I currently split my time between Dallas, Texas and Sayulita, Mexico.

Now, I’m writing my first novel, Evil Bunny: A bus leaves a female solo traveler stranded in the Ecuadorian highlands. A mysterious family gives her a lift and a magical black crystal. Strange things start to happen, making the girl wonder what’s real and what isn’t.
